About The Position

Cargill is hiring a Diamond V Operator in its specialized portfolio enterprise, which serves businesses supporting markets including animal nutrition and health, bioindustrial, road safety salt, and Cargill joint ventures. This full-time position works 12-hour night shifts and pays $37.98 per hour. The operator runs facility equipment and technology, monitors product and tank levels, records data, and helps manufacture products to specifications while following safety and cleanliness standards.

Requirements

Be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Be at least 18 years old.
Understand and communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
Have basic computer skills.
Be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and loud noise, using personal protective equipment.
Be able to work in elevated areas of 4 feet or higher.
Be able to perform physical job duties, including bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to work overtime, including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts, with advance notice.

Nice To Haves

Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems.
Prior experience in production-related work.

Responsibilities

Operate facility equipment and technology, potentially including mixers, batching equipment, mills, grinders, packing equipment, weighing equipment, and palletizers.
Collect product samples and supervise tank levels; use computer systems to input and record data as necessary.
Manufacture products to ensure they meet specifications.
Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement in facility operations and promote teamwork.
Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and loaders.
Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
