About The Position

DaVita is looking for a Dialysis Tech (PCT) to serve our patients at our Canal Winchester Dialysis Center in Canal Winchester, OH. Paid training is provided. The role involves direct patient care, spending the majority of the day in one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment. PCTs care for up to 4-5 patients at a time. Duties include preparing the water room and bicarb for patients, testing water for chlorine, calibrating tools, and monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment by measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. The position also involves building long-term relationships with patients and educating them on Kidney Dialysis related topics. PCTs work under the supervision of an RN as part of a cross-functional team of clinicians including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership.   • Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet.
  • Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Health care experience preferred including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
