About The Position

DaVita is looking for a Dialysis Tech (PCT) to serve our patients at our Canal Winchester Dialysis Center in Canal Winchester, OH. Paid Training Provided! Our PCTs care for up to 4-5 patients at a time. They monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. You will have exposure to blood and needles. PCTs work under the supervision of a RN. • Ability to lift minimum of 5 pounds to a maximum of 50 pounds unassisted.
• Able to perform repetitive standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, and use full range of body motions.
• Ability to interact in person and by phone clearly and efficiently.
• Ability to use computer and all peripherals as needed to meet goals.

• Healthcare experience preferred.
• BONENT Certified.
• Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT).
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
• Phlebotomy certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve patients at the Canal Winchester Dialysis Center.
• Provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment.
• Monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment.
• Measure and record patient stats.
• Perform patient observations.
• Set up hemodialysis machines.
• Prepare the water room and bicarb for patients.
• Test water for chlorine.
• Calibrate tools.
• Educate patients on Kidney Dialysis related topics.
• Work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed.
