About The Position

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI), a nonprofit dialysis provider, is hiring a Dialysis Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care in an in-center hemodialysis unit as part of a patient care team. The RN helps ensure safe care and high-quality outcomes for patients facing chronic kidney disease. The role offers paid training and the opportunity to build relationships with patients in a clinical setting with a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio than other providers.

This is a full-time schedule of four 10-hour shifts beginning at 5:30 a.m. Sundays are off, and there are no overnight shifts. Pay ranges from $31.00 to $44.20 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available. Dialysis experience is not required, and new graduates are encouraged to apply. DCI provides three months of comprehensive training, including classroom sessions and one-on-one skills training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis machines, alarms, and treatment supplies, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform hemodialysis treatments according to facility policies and procedures.
• Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, assess changes, and communicate them to physicians and families.
• Administer and chart prescribed medications.
• Follow CDC/CMS infection-control regulations.
• Participate in patient-care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews.
• Document required patient-education efforts.
• Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
• Assist in maintaining medication inventory.
• Lead a small patient-care team.
• Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed.
• Perform additional tasks as requested.
