About The Position
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at US Renal Care, you will be an integral member of a cross-functional team, working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse and assisting and supervising Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) in caring for patients living with kidney disease. You will provide safe, comfortable, high-quality dialysis treatment and contribute to patient assessment, care planning, safety, and quality efforts.
Requirements
- Current nursing license in the applicable state.
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of current nursing experience.
- Previous dialysis nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide dialysis treatment directly to patients in a safe, comfortable, and high-quality manner.
- Complete and document physical assessments before and after treatments, and monitor patients during treatment.
- Complete monthly reviews of patient medication profiles and administer medications according to physician orders.
- Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team in required patient assessment and care-planning activities.
- Help ensure center staffing requirements are met under the direction of the Administrator and in accordance with state staffing-ratio regulations.
- Follow company policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws and regulations under the supervision of a Charge Nurse.
- Participate in required staff meetings and continuing education offerings.
- Assist and supervise Patient Care Technicians (PCTs).
