About The Position

ECPI University is seeking Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) professionals to join their faculty team. As a faculty member, you will provide practical, hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies to enhance the learning experience of students and achieve learning outcomes. This position is ideal for a DMS professional. The terms are five weeks long, and class sizes are small, providing faculty with a perfect environment to share their specific industry experience. ECPI University is looking for highly motivated individuals passionate about teaching.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required.
Current unencumbered ARMDS certification required.
The equivalent of 2 years of documented full-time professional experience as a general sonographer, cardiac sonographer, pediatric cardiac sonographer and/or vascular technologist.
Strong academic and professional record.
Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction.
Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment.
The highest levels of integrity at all times.
Orientation toward results.
Exemplary interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelors degree in field AND appropriate credentials specific to the concentrations offered preferred.
2 years teaching or presentation experience a plus.
