About The Position

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging CT Trainee for a night-shift position scheduled Saturday through Monday. The role participates in a structured program to learn Cat Scan imaging technology, safety protocols, and patient care procedures. The trainee attends learning sessions and workshops covering relevant anatomy, physiology, and pathology, completes scheduled training modules and exams, and helps prepare Cat Scan equipment and examination rooms.

Requirements

• ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist upon starting.
• Obtain Radiologic Technologist–Computed Tomography (CT) certification within one year of accepting the offer.
• Basic Life Support certification upon starting.
• One year of clinical work experience or recent graduation from an accredited Radiography program.
• Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program covering Cat Scan imaging technology, safety protocols, and patient care procedures.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to learn anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to Cat Scan imaging.
• Complete training modules and exams as scheduled.
• Assist in preparing Cat Scan equipment and examination rooms for procedures.
