Diagnostic Imaging CT Trainee
About The Position
Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated Diagnostic Imaging CT Trainee to join its team on the night shift, Saturday through Monday. The role participates in a structured training program to learn Cat Scan imaging principles, safety protocols, and patient care procedures. Training includes sessions and workshops on anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to Cat Scan imaging, along with scheduled training modules and examinations. The trainee also assists with preparing Cat Scan equipment and examination rooms for procedures. The position requires graduation from an accredited school of radiography and either one year of clinical work experience or recent graduation from an accredited radiography program. Candidates must hold ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification and Basic Life Support certification upon starting. CT certification must be obtained within one year of accepting the offer. No licensure is required.
Requirements
- ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist upon starting.
- Obtain Radiologic Technologist–Computed Tomography (CT) certification within one year of accepting the offer.
- Basic Life Support certification upon starting.
- One year of clinical work experience or recent graduation from an accredited Radiography program.
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training program to learn Cat Scan imaging technology, safety protocols, and patient care procedures.
- Attend training sessions and workshops covering relevant anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Complete training modules and examinations as scheduled.
- Assist in preparing Cat Scan equipment and examination rooms for procedures.
