About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an energetic, upbeat automotive technician or mechanic with a positive attitude and a strong passion for finding solutions and doing what is right for guests. Technicians use their knowledge and skills to diagnose vehicles while working with the team to complete repairs. The role involves working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles, inspecting vehicles, troubleshooting guest concerns, and collaborating with the service department and other technicians to deliver results. The position is located at 13770 West 135th Street, Olathe, Kansas 66062.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests.
Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
Ability to meet or exceed hourly goals.
Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Desire for long-term career development.
Occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician’s head and in tight spaces as required by repairs.
Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
Ability to walk and stand for most of the workday.
Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles.
Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Responsibilities

Diagnose vehicles using automotive knowledge and skills, and work with the team to complete repairs.
Build experience working across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
Work with the team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Work closely with the service department and communicate guest concerns effectively.
Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.
