About The Position

The DI Support - Mammography assists the Mammography Technologist with assigned duties, transports patients to and from the Women’s Imaging Center, and performs clerical functions as assigned. This position is listed as 1.0 FTE, days, and is open to internal candidates only. The hourly wage range is $24.78–$37.99. Offers are based on relevant experience, education, and internal equity; some positions may offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications, or degrees. The position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement between EvergreenHealth and SEIU Healthcare 1199NW; union membership is optional.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent.
At least 6 months of direct patient contact.
Knowledge of the radiology or medical field.
Working knowledge of proper body mechanics.

Nice To Haves

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license and experience.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and assist them to and from changing and procedure rooms, inside and outside the unit as needed.
Prepare paperwork, check and verify orders, and follow up with referring providers or appropriate individuals as needed.
Stock and clean patient changing and waiting rooms, and clean the stereo room as directed.
Accurately enter patient information and provider orders into the computer.
Assist patients with completing consent and admission forms.
Assist the mammography technician as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Transport patients to and from the Women’s Imaging Center.
