About The Position

7AI is seeking a Director, DFIR Alliances to architect, operationalize, and scale its ecosystem-led go-to-market strategy with digital forensics and incident response partners. This executive-level role leads the DFIR partner ecosystem, using partnerships to expand market reach, build trusted-advisor credibility, and grow ARR. The role owns the DFIR alliance strategy end to end, including identifying high-value partnerships, coordinating co-selling, and developing partner motions that help customers modernize security operations. The ecosystem includes incident response firms, cyber insurers, legal and advisory networks, MDR providers, and related partners. The Director works across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Global Alliances, while building scalable enablement and program frameworks that help partners generate revenue independently.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity alliances, channel leadership, or business development.
  • Track record of scaling early-to-mid-stage security software or AI companies.
  • Deep working knowledge of the incident response lifecycle, retainer economics, forensics tooling, and how DFIR firms, MDR providers, and insurers select technology partners and generate revenue.
  • Proven record of consistently exceeding multi-million-dollar partner-driven revenue targets.
  • Existing, active C-suite and VP-level relationships across leading DFIR firms, MDR providers, cyber insurers, and breach counsel that can be activated immediately.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills, including experience structuring referral, resale, and technology partnership agreements with services-led organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to evolve transactional channel models into scalable, ecosystem-led growth engines.
  • Strategic thinker with an execution-first mindset who can thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving startup environments.
  • Uncompromising integrity and strong business judgment.
  • BA/BS degree.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA.

Responsibilities

  • Own forecasting and performance against DFIR partner-sourced and partner-influenced ARR targets, including retainer-to-subscription conversions and post-incident expansions.
  • Design and execute a DFIR alliance strategy covering incident response retainer firms, boutique and Big Four IR practices, MDR providers with IR arms, cyber insurance carriers and panel networks, and breach counsel.
  • Build executive-level relationships with leading DFIR firms and insurers, positioning 7AI as a platform for accelerating investigations and protecting customers after an engagement.
  • Establish repeatable co-selling processes between 7AI enterprise sales and DFIR partner field teams, including referrals and warm handoffs.
  • Define joint solutions and delivery models that use 7AI to accelerate triage, scoping, and evidence analysis, and transition customers from incident response to a continuously monitored, AI-driven SOC.
  • Develop relationships with cyber insurers, brokers, and breach counsel to secure panel and preferred-vendor status and encourage risk-based adoption of 7AI.
  • Align with the VP of Sales, Marketing, Product, and Global Alliances teams so the DFIR strategy contributes to enterprise pipeline and informs the product roadmap and integrations.
  • Implement scalable enablement, certification, and partner-program frameworks that help DFIR partners become independent, revenue-generating extensions of the sales force.
