Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience and understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and microservices architectures.
  • Understanding of automation and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Fluency in English and French (working proficiency in both languages). Fluency in French and English is required for this position to communicate with colleagues, customers, and partners located inside and outside of Québec, as well as to understand technical documentation in the field of our industry.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and experience troubleshooting complex deployment or operational issues.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable DevOps pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) for modern software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross functional development teams to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes, improving reliability and delivery speed.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of tools and technologies that enhance infrastructure performance and streamline development workflows.
  • Apply and promote best practices for source control, code quality, and configuration management across various environments.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot deployment or operational issues, identifying opportunities to improve stability and efficiency.
  • Share knowledge and support team members in DevOps methodologies, contributing to a collaborative and continuously improving engineering culture.
  • Maintain strong security and compliance practices throughout all stages of software development and deployment.
  • Create and maintain documentation for processes, workflows, and solutions to support operational clarity and team knowledge sharing.
