About The Position

In practical terms, we develop a self-service web portal that reduces friction and increases the efficiency of investigative teams. By providing a centralized platform for securely exchanging digital evidence and ensuring controlled access to that data, we help our customers maintain strict oversight of the videos and archives stored on our platform. As a Software Developer, you will play a key role within a passionate development team, contributing to a cloud-based solution designed to manage digital evidence more efficiently in a continuous deployment environment. Working closely with other developers, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing new features while continuously improving existing solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a cloud software development role
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and software development best practices
• Experience with cloud environments and their associated challenges is considered an asset (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision
• Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written (this role requires interaction with our international collaborators and customers)
• Strong experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Knowledge of web technologies such as React, Angular, TypeScript, and CSS
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience deploying ASP.NET services through CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with microservices and distributed architectures
• Experience with technologies such as MQTT, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and related tools

Responsibilities

• Participate in the analysis and design of new features
• Help improve the performance, stability, and cost-efficiency of production services
• Once familiar with the product and operations, participate in the support rotation to help ensure service stability and availability
• Build modern microservices-based applications using cutting-edge technologies
• Collaborate with developers, testers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Work in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment where every decision you make has an immediate impact on customers from your very first week
