Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or related discipline from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in software quality assurance
  • Experience with Jira and GitHub, or similar software development tools
  • Experience in Agile software development
  • Fluency in English and French (working proficiency in both languages). Fluency in French and English is required for this position to communicate with colleagues, customers, and partners located inside and outside of Québec, as well as to understand technical documentation in the field of our industry.
  • Be legally authorized to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI)
  • Experience with SQL, LINQ, and databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database or other RDBMS)
  • Experience with programming languages (Python, Go, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical aptitude and complex problem-solving skills
  • Experience in distributed systems and microservice testing

Responsibilities

  • Review technical specifications and engineering requirements to develop detailed test plans and cases
  • Design, maintain, and execute automated and manual tests to validate functionality, performance, and security of .NET and C# software
  • Analyze results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Advocate for QA best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including pull request review and constructive feedback
  • Work with development and product teams to ensure all user stories and requirements are thoroughly tested and meet acceptance criteria
  • Participate actively in SCRUM ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Assess and integrate modern testing tools and methodologies, including AI-driven solutions, to improve quality and productivity
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test procedures, results, and quality metrics
