Provide direction, support, and assistance to staff during the shift through assignments to ensure shift operations meet individual’s needs. Responsibilities include assuring the physical and emotional well-being of individuals and active participation in the implementation and maintenance of priority training objectives, services, and supports comprising each individual’s habilitation plan. Duties involve those of training and support with personal care, domestic skills, leisure-social skills, self-management, ensuring the supervision and safety of individuals, assistance in program and/or training areas, transportation of individuals to scheduled activities, classes, medical and dental appointments, shopping with and for individuals, community integration, assistance in providing emergency treatment for seizures or accidents, housekeeping chores as necessary, record keeping and documentation.
