This division provides 24-hour care, treatment, and support services for individuals with developmental disabilities, with the goal of promoting growth, independence, productivity, and dignity. Services are delivered according to each individual's habilitation or program plan and focus on supporting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs. Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant. Key responsibilities include assisting individuals with personal care, daily living and domestic skills, socialization, leisure activities, community integration, transportation to appointments and activities, shopping, and ensuring safety and supervision. Staff also support rehabilitation and training programs, provide emergency assistance during incidents such as seizures or accidents, perform housekeeping tasks, and maintain accurate records and documentation. Additional duties include assisting with mobility, transfers, positioning, and proper body alignment.The Developmental Technician II (DTII) also provides leadership during assigned shifts by directing, supporting, and assigning work to direct care staff to ensure individuals' needs are met. In the absence of the Health Care Supervisor I (DSI), the DTII assumes responsibility for supervising and guiding direct care staff.
