About The Position

ViaQuest Residential Services provides support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. The Developmental Disabilities Nurse provides nursing and day-to-day support to individuals under a plan of care, while collaborating with a supervising RN, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team. Part-time and full-time positions are available in Monroe, Ohio, with a 7 a.m.–7 p.m. schedule. Pay is $35–$36 per hour, plus an additional $4 per hour on weekends.

Requirements

• Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Nursing experience in Home Care/Home Health, Private Duty Nursing, Long Term Care, or Disability Services.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties outlined in the plan of care, including medication administration, personal care, light housekeeping, and day-to-day support.
• Support a consistent caseload with a 2:2 ratio of individuals.
• Communicate updates and changes in patient status to the supervising RN.
• Maintain a safe patient environment.
• Provide emotional and social support and compassionate care to patients.
• Maintain current patient records and progress notes.
• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and establish a plan of care with a physician.
