About The Position

Rockwell Automation is seeking a student intern to support engineering development activities involving prototype electromechanical systems, experimental circuitry, and specialized test equipment. Applications include analog, digital, and power electronic systems. The intern will work with engineers and technicians using schematics, diagrams, descriptions, layouts, and plans to modify, test, check out, and troubleshoot equipment. The position includes setting up tests, conducting qualification testing, and capturing data for reports under specific direction and guidance, with an opportunity to learn about power systems and testing. This is a 10–12 week student internship. The work schedule is on first shift, two to three days per week, and can be arranged around the student’s school schedule. The position involves laboratory work and travel to off-site facilities in the greater Milwaukee area for EMC, shock, and vibration testing.
