About The Position

NV5 is seeking a student intern to support the Land Development group through design preparation. The team works in a studio atmosphere where collaboration, flexibility, and self-motivation are important. The intern will assist with project tasks, design and report preparation, calculations, communication with project teams and external stakeholders, fieldwork as needed, and meetings.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a BS program in Civil or Agricultural Engineering.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision and effectively as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs and reports and perform calculations.
• Interact and communicate with the project team, agencies, and possibly clients.
• Perform site visit fieldwork as needed.
• Attend meetings.
• Assist with specific project-related tasks.
