About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate donor and constituent records, processing gifts and pledges, preparing donor acknowledgments, and generating reports to support fundraising and departmental planning. The position also provides administrative support to the Director of Development and the Development team, assists with budget tracking, supports fundraising campaigns and events, and manages online forms and surveys. The coordinator will learn and utilize database and software systems to improve efficiency and support departmental goals. As an employee, this role actively engages in the school's diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism work, participates in professional development, and engages in self-reflection and improvement of practice. The position requires completing administrative tasks, complying with policies, and using technology assets effectively. Collaboration with the Information Services team for technology resources is expected, along with performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in related field.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in general office experience.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail, be accurate, and organized.
  • Ability to handle a multiple-priority, deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to handle tasks with interruptions and maintains positive outlook.
  • Ability to be customer-service oriented and comfortable working with data.
  • Ability to demonstrate an aptitude for learning database systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
  • Thorough understanding of office procedures, general office equipment, and the ability to coordinate and maintain development services processes and procedures and suggest modifications when needed.
  • Excellent computer skills with thorough knowledge of a variety of software packages including Blackbaud/Raisers’ Edge.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, writing and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate donor and constituent records and support ongoing data integrity efforts.
  • Process gifts and pledges, prepare donor acknowledgments, and maintain related records.
  • Generate reports, lists, and spreadsheets to support fundraising, stewardship, and departmental planning.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Development and Development team, including scheduling, correspondence, and project coordination.
  • Assist with budget tracking, deposits, and reconciliation in partnership with the Business Office.
  • Support fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship activities, and selected Development events.
  • Create and manage online forms, surveys, and other tools that support Development initiatives.
  • Learn and utilize database and software systems to improve efficiency and support departmental goals.
  • Engage actively in the school’s diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism work.
  • Attend and actively participate in all required School professional development activities.
  • Engage authentically in processes of self-reflection and improvement of practice.
  • Complete all required administrative and operational tasks and comply with all applicable regulatory requirements and School policies and procedures.
  • Use designated technology assets and platforms as directed by School policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the Information Services team to research, implement and evaluate technology resources related to position responsibilities.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned in support of both divisional and school operations and initiatives.
