The City of Kent is seeking an experienced and highly organized Development Project Coordinator. In this key role, you will serve as the central point of coordination for complex development‑related permit applications, project workflows, document reviews, and stakeholder communications. This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, excels at managing multiple projects simultaneously, and enjoys facilitating effective communication across diverse teams. The role requires strong analytical abilities, sound judgment, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting numerous internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have two (2) years of college coursework in public administration, business administration, legal studies, paralegal studies, project management, planning, engineering technology, construction management, communications, or a related field, along with four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in project coordination, program administration, permit administration, legal support, paralegal services, regulatory compliance, records management, contract administration, project analysis, public administration, development services, engineering support, planning support, or a related field.
