About The Position

This position is for a Development Operations Engineer with a focus on Kubernetes, Linux, and Docker. The role involves software and system deployments, Linux system administration, containerization, cloud deployments, and Development Security Operations. The engineer will perform network services from design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrade of LAN/CAN/WAN networks, administer Arista and Cisco devices, and configure/optimize networks. Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting is required, along with experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab and infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible or Terraform. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including managing and configuring Kubernetes clusters for high availability, scalability, and security, is essential. Experience with management and monitoring of hybrid cloud/virtualized environments is also needed. The position requires an active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (e.g., Security+). Travel is required, and the candidate must be available for 24/7 call-in support for critical system discrepancies.

Requirements

Two (2) years' experience with software and system deployments.
Two (2) years' experience with Linux system administration.
Two (2) years' experience with containerization.
Two (2) years' experience with cloud deployments.
Two (2) years' experience with Development Security Operations (DevSecOps).
Experience performing network services from design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrade of LAN/CAN/WAN networks.
Experience with administration of Arista and Cisco devices.
Experience configuring and optimizing networks to connect front-end and back-end components.
Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab.
Experience using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience managing and configuring Kubernetes clusters for high availability, scalability, and security.
Experience with management and monitoring of hybrid cloud/virtualized environments.
Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+).
Recent experience within the last three (3) years in Kubernetes.
Recent experience within the last three (3) years in cluster orchestration.
Recent experience within the last three (3) years in containerization.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
TS/SCI Clearance.
Polygraph required.
