Software Engineer 2 - (Python, Kubernetes, Docker)
About The Position
You will act as a general-purpose Software Engineer and Data Integrator for an up-and-coming project where you will design, develop, and integrate solutions for the greater developer community to provide. You will be working closely with data scientists, and other software / system engineers, and systems administrators to integrate AI/ML technologies. Build upon Kubernetes / Docker experience. Develop new and support existing software solutions. Utilize DevOps / CI/CD Experience. Leverage AI Experience. Elicit requirements from stakeholders and determine the applicability of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions.
Requirements
- Experience using AI, LLM’s, and leveraging the latest technologies.
- Production-grade software development experience in Python and JVM Languages.
- Service containerization and automated/manual deployment using CI/CD with Kubernetes/ Docker.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Experiencing maintaining high quality test suite and test coverage for internally developed software.
- Documentation using Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with distributed development teams
- Experience with additional programming languages (Kotlin).
- Experience with popular test libraries for the JVM & Python (JUnit, assert4j unittest, pytest)
- Full Stack Development / (Currently more backend focused)
- Analyzing cyber security-related data sets (network traffic, OS events).
- Experience working in formalized software development processes (Scrum/Kanban/Sprints)
- Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
- Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
