About The Position
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Developer at our Newport Beach, CA location responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, and quality assurance of specific SAP product features in a development team.
Requirements
- Object oriented software development using Java, Gradle, or Maven
- Relational SQL databases, including Postgres and HANA
- CRUD interface via REST API
- Messaging using Apache Kafka and Protobuf
- Design and implement horizontally scalable microservices
- Deploy applications using Docker containers, Kubernetes, and Helm
Responsibilities
- Analyze and solve issues in existing and new code.
- Provide application implementation services typically within the boundaries of specifications and project plans.
- Design activities include requirements analysis and design documentation.
- Implementation activities include implementation, testing, and integration.
- Maintenance activities include error analysis and removal.
- Extends, modifies or adapts existing designs but may also be involved in the development of new (sub-) systems.
