About The Position

SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Developer at our Palo Alto, CA location responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, and quality assurance of specific product features in a development team. The role involves analyzing and solving issues in existing and new code, demonstrating full responsibility for accepted tasks with high quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency. The Developer will possess proficient overall product knowledge and share domain expertise within the team. Responsibilities include the design, implementation, and maintenance of modules or features of a product, working according to specifications and project plans. This includes application implementation services, requirements analysis, design documentation, implementation, testing, integration, and error analysis and removal. While often extending, modifying, or adapting existing designs, the role may also involve the development of new sub-systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Three (3) years of experience involving Java, Shell Script, and Kotlin.
  • Three (3) years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining high performance, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Three (3) years of experience implementing application features and business logic per requirements.
  • Three (3) years of experience building application micro services and APIs on J2EE stack and Spring Boot.
  • Three (3) years of experience resolving software issues and identifying improvements and enhancements.
  • Three (3) years of experience in web app development.

Responsibilities
