The Cybersecurity Developer is responsible for designing, building, and automating security capabilities across cloud and on‑prem environments by embedding DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines and the broader software development lifecycle. This role partners closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams to integrate security controls, remediate vulnerabilities, define secure coding standards, and develop reusable security components. The position emphasizes automation and AI‑driven solutions to reduce the cost, complexity, and operational burden of security and compliance activities, including the implementation of scripted and orchestrated solutions using tools such as Ansible, ServiceNow, and common scripting languages. The role also supports secure cloud architectures and shared‑responsibility models, contributes to architecture reviews and threat modeling, maintains technical documentation and runbooks, evaluates emerging security tools and techniques, and participates in an on‑call rotation to support security tooling and pipelines.
