About The Position

Develop and test software modules based on client requirements, prepare project documentation, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery. The role seeks a Java Backend Lead to lead backend development, architect and design Spring Boot microservices, and drive end-to-end technical delivery, particularly in the banking domain. The position includes implementing RESTful APIs and integrations, optimizing services for performance and scalability, ensuring compliance with banking security standards, troubleshooting production issues and conducting root-cause analysis, and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience.
Core Java, including Java 8, 11, or 17+.
Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Cloud.
Microservices architecture.
Kafka or RabbitMQ.
REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger.
Hibernate/JPA.
Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Jenkins, Git, Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Mandatory skill: Enterprise Platform Engineering Backend.

Nice To Haves

Banking or payments background.
Experience in core banking, digital payments, or fraud systems.
Understanding of PCI-DSS, encryption, and audit logging.
