About The Position

Employee will be responsible for planning and performing a wide range of duties including the supervision of assigned shift personnel, ensure the proper transmission of communications between shifts in addition to communications between officers and supervisors on duty. Successful candidate will review shift assignments, assist in briefing personnel, inspect and review subordinates, and will initiate recommendations and/or make requests for disciplinary actions following the chain of command. Successful candidate must competently work in all areas and units, including booking and be proficient in reviewing intake and release paperwork, and will be responsible for inspecting officers' appearances and equipment. Employee must be knowledgeable of all rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines and must be knowledgeable of laws and regulations pertaining to prisoners and their rights. Must be able to obtain NCIC certification, knowledge of the Morpho software. Review and approve timesheet via the Kronos application. Employee will work under minimal supervision and will be subject to call out as needed. Employee may be required to work irregular hours, report for duty 15 minutes before and after shift for briefing purpose, attend job related meetings, and perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain NCIC certification.
  • Knowledge of Morpho software.
  • Knowledge of Kronos application.
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Must be subject to call out as needed.
  • Must be able to work irregular hours.
  • Must report for duty 15 minutes before and after shift for briefing purposes.
  • Must attend job-related meetings.
  • Valid Driving Record dated within the last 30 days.
  • Completed and notarized Waiver.
  • Completed Veterans' Form.
