About The Position

Teph Seal Auto Appearance is hiring detailers for flat-rate detail shop positions. The company operates detail and reconditioning centers in auto dealerships across the United States. Detailers help maintain store facilities and deliver high-quality service, ensuring customers receive courteous assistance, quality products, and timely responses to inquiries and complaints. The work includes driving, detailing, and cleaning vehicles. Available experience levels include Detail Specialist 1 for candidates with some experience and Detail Specialist 2 for candidates with more than two years of experience. This physically demanding role involves washing vehicle exteriors with cleaning solutions; waxing and buffing vehicles; vacuuming interiors; cleaning upholstery and other surfaces; drying surfaces with air compressors and cloths; and applying preservation chemicals. Duties may also include using dyes, paints, and waxes to protect leather or fabric, and cleaning grease from engines or engine compartments. Employees must be flexible and perform additional duties assigned by management to meet operational needs. The work may take place outdoors in varying weather conditions and involves moving numerous vehicles during the workday. The role requires frequent bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and getting in and out of vehicles, as well as continual flexing of the spine, hands, wrists, and fingers. Employees may occasionally push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 pounds. They must follow uniform and grooming standards, work safely with approved cleaning products, inspect their own work and teammates’ work, and work with urgency to respect customers’ time. Compensation is flat rate. Requirements

Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

Ability to distinguish small imperfections in detailing work, including streaks, smudges, or missed vacuuming.

Commitment to follow uniform and grooming standards.
Successful completion of drug and background screening is required for employment.

Responsibilities
