About The Position

The Detail Technician helps Baxter Subaru La Vista deliver an exceptional guest experience by preparing and cleaning vehicles. The role includes washing vehicle exteriors, cleaning windows and doorjambs, inspecting vehicles for visible defects, using specialized cleaners to remove materials that ordinary cleaning cannot remove, and cleaning engines and engine compartments with steam-cleaning equipment and cleaning agents. Other duties may be assigned by Management. This is a full-time position scheduled Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The listed pay is $18.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle. Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check and drug screening. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle.
Must successfully complete the background check process and drug screening test as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicle exteriors, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs.
Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, including dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials that ordinary cleaning procedures do not remove, using experience and judgment and following manufacturers’ recommendations.
Clean engines and engine compartments using steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
