About The Position
Under the direction and supervision of the Detail Manager, this position is responsible for moving vehicles, quality control, and all aspects of interior and exterior cleaning and detailing of vehicles. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards, and policies of Willis Automotive.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend instructions and information
- Valid Iowa driver's license; acceptable driving record in accordance with insurance provider
- Ability to operate vehicles with both manual and standard transmissions
- Ability to operate the necessary cleaning equipment and in a safe manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced time management skills
- Must have ability to work well in a team-based environment
Responsibilities
- Moves vehicles in and out of detail area as needed.
- Performs exterior prep work of vehicles for detail in accordance with time and maintenance standards as set by the company.
- Performs exterior washing of vehicles using both car wash equipment and manual labor.
- Performs all work within OSHA and company safety guidelines; wears the required personal protective equipment as required by chemical manufacturer.
- Communicates work accomplishments and activities to supervisor on a regular basis.
