About The Position

The primary responsibility for this role is to act as a Team Lead, installing, diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining high-end proprietary products, as well as other computer-related products such as desktop and laptop computers, printers, standard software, high-end servers, networking devices, and large-scale payment products. When supporting ITO engagements, you will be recognized as a desk side support specialist. You may be directed by Help Desk, Service Desk, or script using standard methods, techniques, and tools. You will handle more complex products, problems, and/or projects and may provide technical guidance to lower-level engineers. You may function as a team or on-site leader as necessary, providing technical support to customers in solving technical problems that occur during the installation or operation of company-supported products. This role involves working in deployment services, supporting the implementation and rollout of new applications or infrastructure. Activities may include hardware or software procurement, configuration, tuning, staging, installation, and interoperability testing. The technician will perform server and storage break and fix, and provide support for Enterprise products, networking products (including Cisco certification requirements), Payment systems products, and core-CMOS products. Project management responsibilities for smaller projects may also be assigned. The role requires high-skilled, specialized technical skills, including software, hardware, and networking support for desktops, laptops, and servers, as well as maintenance and support on legacy products. The technician will perform installs, moves, adds, and changes as required, and test and certify PCs, networks, servers, and client-approved applications. Follow-up on problems or escalations is crucial, maintaining a high degree of professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction, and updating incident and request tickets within the ticketing system according to client-specific Service Level Agreements.
