About The Position

This role is responsible for the support and upkeep of the organization's systems and hardware. The position involves managing small to medium-sized projects as assigned by the IT Director, ensuring timely completion according to schedule. It also includes recommending technical solutions to improve network performance, reliability, and user satisfaction, as well as providing technical support, diagnosing application errors, and troubleshooting system issues. The role requires rapid response to emergency situations, including on-call coverage outside of normal business hours, and may involve running network and telephone cabling. Additionally, the position requires demonstrating commitment to organizational values, establishing effective communication, adhering to dress code, exhibiting initiative, completing required education and training, maintaining patient confidentiality, reporting to work punctually, contributing to performance improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and following safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable).
  • Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year experience in an IT technical or customer service support role in a healthcare setting.
  • Functional knowledge to provide desktop support.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for support and upkeep of the organization's systems and hardware.
  • Responsible for the management of small and medium-sized projects as assigned by the IT Director.
  • Projects to be completed in a timely manner according to the schedule.
  • Recommends technical solutions to improve network performance, reliability, and increase user satisfaction.
  • Provides technical support, diagnosis of application errors, and troubleshooting of system issues.
  • Rapidly responds to emergency situations, including direct response or on-call coverage, both during and outside of normal business hours.
  • Runs network and telephone cabling as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Establishes and maintains effective verbal and written communication, fostering positive working relationships with patients, staff, and vendors.
