About The Position

Gr8ttek is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist in Longview, WA. This is a long-term, potential contract-to-hire opportunity with a typical conversion timeline of around 6 months. The pay rate is $19.50 W2. Gr8ttek's mission is to partner with individuals to find the right position for their future by aligning expertise with client needs. The client is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to perform tasks related to the repair of technology products in an end-user computing environment.

Requirements

• 3+ Years Experience in performing basic and moderately complex troubleshooting and repair activities, typically associated in an end-user environment, including but not limited to PCs, desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers.
• 3+ Years Experience Performing Install/Move/Add or Change (IMAC) activities.
• Maintain all required OEM Certifications as directed by Management
• 3+ years experience relevant software and hardware systems
• Understanding of ITIL methodologies

Nice To Haves

• A+ certification is desired

Responsibilities

• Provide support to client-identified VIPs
• Responds to change management requests including installing new PC equipment, providing end-user deskside support and other related activities.
• Perform all assigned desk-side support activities
• Display outstanding technical and professional services skills at all times
• Meet - established customer service satisfaction levels and other operational/customer service metrics as outlined in established guidelines
• Proactively communicate with the end-user and service desk personnel regarding arrival times, repair time estimates and the status of the repair
• Understands and follows all documented service operations policies and procedures.
