About The Position

Our client is looking for a Deskside Support Technician to join their team that will be responsible for providing daily hardware support to end users for PCs, laptops, tablets, and printers. Position is also responsible for daily software support including operating systems and applications running on devices. This position will be support for internal end-users and handles all requests related to Windows/PC issues, Microsoft Office, Group Policies, Active Directory, VPN/networking, setting up devices with applications, and Exchange.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, repair, upgrade, and troubleshoot PC workstations, servers, printers, network equipment, telecommunications systems, software, and databases used by the company.
  • Provide technical support and problem resolution for hardware, software, network, and system issues for all users, either in person or remotely.
  • Work with hardware vendors, software vendors, and service providers to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
  • Responding to and resolving tickets through a ticketing system.
  • Provide recommendations on desktop, laptop, server, virtualization, and network configurations to support business needs.
  • Software deployment and endpoint management.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Configure, administer, and maintain application, file, print, and network servers, including domain controllers and Microsoft 365 email and collaboration systems.
  • Experience supporting Office 365 (Outlook troubleshooting, user issues)
  • Managing user accounts and access (user provisioning, password resets, access support, and basic security practices) via Active Directory.
