About The Position

The New Jersey Judiciary Information Technology Office is seeking an individual to work on the Central Office Technology Services (COTS) team. This position will support the Central Office desktops, laptop, mobile and printer environments. Additionally, the candidate will be supporting Central Office specific Group Policy and Active Directory environments for 1200+ users. Other duties include creating and deploying software packages using Microsoft System Center Configuration Management environment (SCCM). Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Administration strongly preferred. The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 3 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or the area to which the applicant is applying, such as information systems, human-computer interaction, interactive media, software engineering, computer networking, business analytics, data analytics and/or cybersecurity and one year of professional experience in: analyzing, designing, programming, troubleshooting, resolving technical problems, testing, defining business requirements, training and/or installing computer systems applications OR planning, acquiring, installing and implementing telecommunications facilities and services, wide area networks, or local area networks OR generating and maintaining system software OR business analysis which may include defining and gathering business and functional requirements, analyzing and validating data and/or documenting test plans OR business analytics OR data analytics.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Administration strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy operating system images to Central Office users and deploy software using SCCM
  • Provide end-user level 1 and level 2 support.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware related issues
  • Configure and secure server file shares
  • Create and configure Ricoh scan folders
  • Configure printers on print server
  • Support and manage permissions on SharePoint sites
