About The Position

Advanced Technologies & Laboratories International, Inc. (ATL) is hiring a Desktop Publication Specialist/Graphic Artist for their NIOSH contract. This role involves developing and designing new communication products, including those targeting specific groups of firefighters such as ads, social media content, presentations, posters, fact sheets, tip sheets, palm cards, email blasts, exhibit booth materials, and giveaways with NFR QR codes. The specialist will utilize widely available graphics design software and apps for both print and e-products. Additionally, they will contribute intellectually to the NFR comprehensive communications campaign, focusing on under-represented firefighter demographics, as participation rates will be monitored to guide communication and design efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and three years of experience
  • Skilled in widely available graphics design software and apps, suitable for producing print and eproducts
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Communication tools (Teams, SharePoint)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design new communication products, including ads, social media content, presentations, posters, fact sheets, tip sheets, palm cards, email blasts, exhibit booth materials, giveaways with NFR QR codes, etc.
  • Contribute intellectually to the NFR comprehensive communications campaign to specifically target groups of firefighters under-represented in the NFR.
