About The Position

The Business Development Junior Graphic Artist is a capable and detail-oriented creative professional who thrives in a corporate environment, values consistency, and brings technical design skill to branded communications. It plays a key role in executing and finalizing RFP, presentations, and graphics that align with our brand identity and win new business.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in a corporate or B2B environment.
  • Proficient in the Adobe Suite InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office products, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with templates, paragraph/character styles, and style sheets.
  • Understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to work within brand guidelines while maintaining creativity.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity in preparing print and digital files for delivery and production.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and work under high pressure.
  • Embraces multiple different types of personalities and temperaments.
  • Able to work through complex challenges to offer solutions.
  • Commitment to continuous learning.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens.
  • Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person.
  • Repetitive hand movements, such as working on keyboard and writing.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Walking, bending, sitting, reaching and stretching in all directions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com) and cloud-based collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry or employee benefits is desired.
  • Insurance brokerage or industry knowledge is desired.
  • Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Follows design direction to ensure projects are properly branded, engaging, scalable, and efficient.
  • Contributes to creative brainstorming and ensures designs align with overall communications strategies.
  • Assists in the production of collateral that supports pre- and post-sales deliverables, such as RFPs, finalist presentations, white papers, case studies, infographics, brochures, placemats, and other special projects.
  • Execute custom communications projects that fulfill the needs and expectations of producers and clients to win and keep business through templates across platforms.
  • Capable of quickly solve problems, issues, or delays in regard to print or digital design and production deliverables.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all creative outputs.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and organization of the graphics elements library.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas.
  • Identify new areas for learning to improve personal design skills and support team performance.
