About The Position

Stefanini Group is looking for a Deskside Technician I for a globally recognized company! This is an on-site, entry-level IT support role responsible for PC End of Life Refresh On-site. The role involves in-person support of end-user desktops, laptops, peripherals, and basic software. The technician will provide timely troubleshooting, incident resolution, hardware setup, and escalation to higher-level teams when needed. The focus is on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a secure, functional user environment.

Requirements

  • Entry-level IT support experience
  • Experience with PC End of Life Refresh On-site
  • In-person support of end-user desktops, laptops, peripherals, and basic software
  • Troubleshooting and incident resolution skills
  • Hardware setup skills
  • Ability to escalate to higher-level teams when needed
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain a secure, functional user environment
  • Experience with desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, docking stations, phones, and common peripherals
  • Experience troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues (OS, standard business applications, email, VPN, network connectivity)
  • Experience with workstation builds, imaging, OS installs, and system refreshes
  • Experience installing, configuring, and replacing hardware components and peripherals
  • Experience with cable management and basic office device setup
  • Experience with standard account administration tasks (password resets, account unlocks, basic Active Directory tasks)
  • Experience supporting onboarding and offboarding workflows
  • Experience maintaining inventory of spare equipment, consumables, and parts
  • Knowledge of security best practices (patching, antivirus, device encryption, secure disposal of sensitive materials)

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person, technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, docking stations, phones, and common peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues (OS, standard business applications, email, VPN, network connectivity).
  • Perform workstation builds, imaging, OS installs, and system refreshes following approved images and checklists.
  • Install, configure, and replace hardware components and peripherals; perform cable management and basic office device setup.
  • Execute standard account administration tasks (password resets, account unlocks, basic Active Directory tasks) per documented procedures.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding workflows: set up new user equipment, transfer data, and collect/erase devices at termination.
  • Maintain inventory of spare equipment, consumables, and parts; report low-stock or faulty items.
  • Follow security best practices: ensure patching, antivirus status, device encryption, and secure disposal of sensitive materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service; communicate status and next steps clearly to end-users.
