About The Position

Premier Brands Group Holdings is a global leader in apparel, jewelry, and accessories design. They are seeking a Jewelry Designer to create and design a competitive fashion jewelry product line that supports and builds branding across diverse distribution channels. The role involves market and trend analysis, interpreting trends into brand-appropriate ideas, and executing designs from sketch to technical illustrations. The designer will also collaborate with product development teams, create presentations, and work with the Design Director to ensure designs meet business needs. Clear communication with internal teams and overseas partners is essential.

Requirements

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Jewelry Design or BA in a related field
Minimum of 4-5 years of professional Jewelry Design experience
Proficient sketching in Illustrator
Capable in Photoshop
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

Fluency in Illustrator preferred

Responsibilities

Market and trend analysis on a routine basis
Interpret design/style trends into brand-appropriate ideas
Execute ideas through the full cycle of designing: loose sketch through to technical illustrations
Understand costume jewelry manufacturing for clear and accurate spec sheets in the development process
Collaborate with product development teams for product execution and cost optimization
Produce cohesive and organized design and product presentations, including boards, renderings, and sample reviews
Work with the Design Director to ensure designs meet business needs of a given brand as presented by the merchandising and sales team
Adhere to the design and development calendar
Maintain professional, flexible, and clear communication with internal teams as well as overseas partners
