About The Position

This is a hybrid role, allowing for the ability to work from home. The Design Professional II - Landscape Architecture will be responsible for modifying or creating implementation documents, applying standard landscape architectural techniques and procedures according to written and verbal specifications with general supervision. This role involves collaboration on design and technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of a project, as well as assisting in preparing and presenting client presentations. The position also includes performing product research, assisting with material selection and system research, supporting research of code and zoning requirements, attending on-site visits and field reviews, and documenting project meetings. Communication with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors is essential for incorporating information into design and project documents. The role also involves providing guidance to entry-level staff and participating in team meetings to discuss project and design issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Landscape Architecture, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Design Intern, Landscape Designer, or in a related/similar position
  • 2 years of experience with Landscape Design
  • 2 years of experience with Adobe suite such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Powerpoint
  • 2 years of experience with 3D Modeling / Rendering Software such as Lumion and Enscape
  • 2 years of experience Creating Architectural Drawings such as Plans, Site Plans, Elevations, Sections, and Axonometrics
  • 2 years of experience Drafting / Modeling in documentation software such as AutoCAD and Revit
  • 2 years of experience Utilizing Sketchup and Rhino

  • Attend on-site visits, field reviews, and client and/or project meetings and document these visits as appropriate
  • Assist in preparing schedules and review implementation documents and samples as needed
  • Communicate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to incorporate information into design, project requirements, and documents as needed
  • Provide guidance and direction to entry-level staff as appropriate
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project issues, design and technical issues, and coordination with other disciplines
