This role involves modifying or creating implementation documents using standard architectural techniques, collaborating on design and technical resolution, assisting with client presentations, performing product research, and supporting code and zoning research. The Design Professional II may also attend on-site visits and provide guidance to entry-level staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Architecture, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or as an Architectural Staff/Intern, Design Professional, or in a related/similar position
  • 2 years of experience with Design presentation and documentation including master planning, urban design, and architecture
  • 2 years of experience with Grasshopper, Ladybug, Kangaroo, and Lunch Box
  • 2 years of experience with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam Revu
  • 2 years of experience with Stable diffusion, Lora, Controlnet, and Dreambooth
  • 2 years of experience with AutoCAD, Rhino, Catia, 3Dmax, Revit, Enscape, V-Ray, and Lumion
  • 2 years of experience with Site design, program layout, and coordination and documentation with other outside design consultants
  • 2 years of experience with MS Office Suite
  • 2 years of experience with Commercial mixed-use projects

Responsibilities

  • Modifies or creates implementation documents, applying standard architectural techniques and procedures and according to written and verbal specifications with general supervision
  • Collaborates on design and technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of a project
  • Assists in preparing client presentations and presents project design intent
  • Performs product research; assists project designers with material selection and system research
  • May support research of code and zoning requirements
  • May attend on-site visits, field reviews and client and/or project meetings and documents these visits as appropriate
  • Assists in preparing schedules and reviewing implementation documents and samples as needed
  • Communicates with other disciplines, vendors and contractors to incorporate information into design, project requirements and documents as needed
  • Provides guidance and direction to entry-level staff as appropriate
  • Participates in team meetings to discuss project issues, design and technical issues and coordination with other disciplines
