The Design Professional II will modify or create implementation documents, apply standard landscape architectural techniques and procedures, collaborate on design and technical resolution, assist in client presentations, perform product research, and support code research.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Landscape Architecture, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Design Intern, Landscape Designer, or in a related/similar position
  • 2 years experience with Landscape Design
  • 2 years experience with Adobe suite such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Powerpoint
  • 2 years experience with 3D Modeling / Rendering Software such as Lumion and Enscape
  • 2 years experience with Creating Architectural Drawings such as Plans, Site Plans, Elevations, Sections, and Axonometrics
  • 2 years experience with Drafting / Modeling in documentation software such as AutoCAD and Revit
  • 2 years experience with Utilizing Sketchup and Rhino

Responsibilities

  • Modify or create implementation documents, applying standard landscape architectural techniques and procedures according to written and verbal specifications with general supervision
  • Collaborate on design and technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of a project
  • Assist in preparing client presentations and present project design intent
  • Perform product research; assist project designers with material selection and system research
  • Support research of code and zoning requirements
  • Attend on-site visits, field reviews, and client and/or project meetings and document these visits as appropriate
  • Assist in preparing schedules and review implementation documents and samples as needed
  • Communicate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to incorporate information into design, project requirements, and documents as needed
  • Provide guidance and direction to entry-level staff as appropriate
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project issues, design and technical issues, and coordination with other disciplines
