About The Position
The Design Manager oversees design elements and coordination for multifamily construction projects. The role reports to the Vice President of Design and Entitlements and works closely with Developers, Construction Project Managers, Third Party Architects, and Owners. Responsibilities span project design, consultant proposals, construction-document review, regulatory approvals, project tours, internal records, and problem-solving across preconstruction and construction.
Requirements
- A degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
- Previous multifamily experience.
Responsibilities
- Direct certain project design elements.
- Coordinate and complete competitive project tours.
- Review consultant proposals.
- Review construction documents.
- Obtain regulatory approvals as required.
- Maintain internal review logs and information.
- Problem-solve across all facets of preconstruction and construction.
