About The Position

Mi-Tech Services, Inc. is seeking a structural engineer to design temporary and permanent structures associated with utility, infrastructure, and heavy civil construction projects. The role involves developing calculation submittals and design and shop drawings, as well as supporting project pursuits and bids through preliminary evaluations and analyses. Additional duties include supporting other engineers, coordinating and communicating with design and field teams, and assisting senior engineers with assigned work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0 to 2 years minimum of experience in the design of temporary works, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects.
• Successful completion of the FE exam.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and Finite Element Analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a quickly changing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures.
• Previous construction field experience.
