About The Position

BCI, a leader in the women's fashion industry since 1975, is seeking an energetic, highly organized, and dependable Design Assistant/Fit Model to join their Design team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced fashion designers, participate in the product development process, and gain exposure to apparel collection creation from concept to production. The position involves two key functions: serving as an in-house Fit Model to perfect garment fit and acting as an operations assistant to maintain the Design department's organization and efficiency. No prior fashion experience is required; the company seeks candidates with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Participate in daily fit sessions for in-house designs.
Review production samples with Design and Technical Design teams.
Participate in fittings for showroom samples and market inspiration garments.
Assist in select buyer meetings requiring garment reviews and fit evaluations.
Assist designers with changing priorities and day-to-day needs.
Manage visitor access, building credentials, and office entry systems.
Support PLM data organization, cleanup, and system integration.
Help organize design materials, fabrics, samples, and workspaces.
Provide general support to the team to ensure productivity in a fast-moving environment.
