About The Position

Support engineering design, development, analysis, testing, and certification of mission avionics systems. Support system-level requirements development, validation, and verification. Assist in development of certification test plans and procedures. Coordinate system-level integration of mission avionics hardware and software. Support execution of critical tests to validate system performance. Provide technical management oversight for suppliers and internal software teams. Support proposal development and conduct trade studies for upgrades and new business. Coordinate FAA, military certification, and Boeing airworthiness activities. Work with specialty engineering IPTs (safety, EMI/EMC, cybersecurity). Provide troubleshooting support for production labs and aircraft. Conduct technical investigations and perform Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA).

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance required (Interim acceptable to start)
  • Aerospace experience required
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry (Electrical Engineering preferred)
  • 3+ years of engineering experience
  • Experience with communication systems, FAA or military environments
  • Experience troubleshooting and performing hardware/software integrations
  • RF experience (radio systems, communications systems, military GPS, military chat, Link 16)
  • Networking experience
  • Must meet U.S. export compliance requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR)

  • Experience with navigation systems, flight management systems, or mission control systems
