About The Position

Optima Dermatology is seeking a board-certified Dermatopathologist to join a growing dermatology group in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role involves evaluating a broad spectrum of office-based dermatopathology specimens, working closely with dermatologists to provide accurate diagnoses, and participating in professional development. The position is based in a newly built, state-of-the-art on-site histology laboratory, with a comfortable modern office adjacent to it. This is a dermatopathology-only practice with no frozen sections, no on-call duties, and no weekend or holiday work.

Requirements

• MD or DO, licensed to practice medicine in the jurisdiction where the laboratory is located (if required).
• Certification in Anatomic Pathology or Dermatology and Dermatopathology by the American Board of Pathology or the American Osteopathic Board of Pathology.
• Completion of an accredited Dermatopathology fellowship.
• Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in NH.
• Excellent diagnostic and communication skills.
• Commitment to exceptional service.
