About The Position
An established private dermatology organization is seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its practice near Visalia in California’s southern San Joaquin Valley. The position focuses primarily on general and medical dermatology, evaluating and treating a range of medical dermatologic conditions, with some cosmetic dermatology included. The practice may accommodate additional cosmetic services according to the provider’s experience and interests. Patient volume is approximately 30–40 per day. Compensation includes a guaranteed base salary of $120,000–$150,000 based on experience and a tiered collections bonus, with estimated annual earning potential of up to $200,000. A full benefits package is offered. The surrounding area is described as a quieter community setting with access to outdoor recreation, lakes, hiking trails, and the Sierra Nevada region.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant credential.
- At least 1–2 years of dermatology experience.
- Experience diagnosing and managing general medical dermatology conditions.
- Strong clinical judgment.
- Commitment to patient-centered care.
Nice To Haves
- Interest in cosmetic dermatology; it is welcome but not required.
