About The Position

Qualderm Partners is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant to work as needed in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The role supports providers in delivering patient care and maintaining smooth practice operations. The position requires availability on Mondays and a willingness to travel to Mount Airy and North Wilkesboro. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, attentive to detail, and committed to helping patients. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
Understanding of medical terminology, especially in dermatology.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in a fast-paced environment.
Must be available to work Mondays.
Must be willing to travel to Mount Airy and North Wilkesboro.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic office applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examinations by recording vital signs and medical histories.
Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
Prepare instruments, equipment, and procedure rooms.
Conduct basic laboratory tests and handle specimens for analysis.
Maintain accurate, confidential patient records.
Coordinate patient scheduling and office communications.
Educate patients about treatments, medications, and appropriate skincare.
Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked.
